643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/alex/

FASTBALL: 82-84 T85 MPH
TOP FASTBALL SPIN RATE: 2,505
TOP CURVEBALL (MPH): 72
TOP CURVEBALL (SPIN RATE): 2,503

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Low 3/4 Release Point with notable arm-side run on his Fastball and a High Spin Slurve with Late depth and break.  Very long arms allow him to extend well out in front despite current size.  Very projectable arm with room for velocity gains and plus breaking pitch.

SS Brian Silva (2020 HS Class / Humacao PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profilehttp://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/bsilva/

60 YARDS: 7.5
INF MPH: 80-81 MPH
MAX BARREL SPEED: 57 MPH

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Middle Infielder with sound defensive actions, good lateral range and playable arm strength at SS.  Offensively shows potential to drive pitches to his pull side with his slight uppercut swing yet keeps hands in the zone well.  Currently below-average runner though he should improve with added strength and explosiveness training.  More than anything Brian needs to add strength to his frame and as it will make him a better athlete and deceiving as a hitter with gap pop.

SS Billy Rivera (2019 HS Class / Sabana Grande PR)

Report:

Coach Name & Phone: Danny Matias 787-529-2791

60 YARDS: 6.6 – 6.7

Player Report (4/2019 Video Workout)
Athletic Middle Infielder w/ lots of projection physically. 6.6-6.7/60 Yards. 61 Max Barrel Speed. Rangy with good lateral actions defensively. Line drive approach offensively with a controlled toe tap

INF/OF Luis Sanchez (2019 HS Class / PRBAHS)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/ldsanchez/

60 YARDS: 7.3
OF MPH: 76-77 MPH
INF MPH: 74-75 MPH
MAX BARREL SPEED: 65 MPH
GPA: 2.90

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Well built with notable strength, Luis is a versatile defensive player that can move around the infield and outfield with sound defensive actions and athleticism shown in his actions and his infield range.  Arm plays more in LF and MI where he usually plays shortstop.  Other than his versatility, Sanchez’s best tool is his bat.  He transferred his weight with good timing to generate hard contact to the gaps with a lofty swing that falls between line drive and uppercut and stays in the zone a long time for its angle.   His ability to drive is currently more pullside and his swing path suggests that’s where it will play more.  He shows makings on some eventual in-game power which profiles him well even as a 3b/LF.  Very interesting player.

OF Nathaniel Alvarez (2018 HS Class / Ponce PR)

Switch-Hitting OF, 6.9-7.0/60 Yards. 60 Max Barrel Speed lefthanded. Sound Defensive Actions. Looking to Transfer to 4 Year University from PR

OF Jose Hernandez (2018 HS Class / Caguas PR)

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/joseahr/

60 YARDS: 7.5
OF MPH: 76-77 MPH
MAX BARREL SPEED: 61 MPH
GPA: 3.95

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Compact frame with projection offensively with added strength.  Showed fundamentally sound defensive actions which play above present athleticism and arm.  Short, line drive swing with a slight toe tap from an almost flat bat starting position.  Will hit and bat plays above what frame projects.  Should run better with added strength which is biggest need.  Good student.

RHP Martin Gonzalez (2019 HS Class / Cidra PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/mgonzalez/

FASTBALL: 83-84 T85 MPH
TOP FASTBALL SPIN RATE: 2,176
TOP CURVEBALL (MPH): 73
TOP CURVEBALL (SPIN RATE): 1,693

Player Report (7/14/2018 Video Workout)

FB sat at 83-84 T85MPH with a T2,176 Spin Rate. Physical growth, Delivery adjustments and Jaeger Long Toss/Bands Program have been reflected in Velo which has increased 5+ MPH. FB stays on plane very well. Developing CV and CH show potential, Velo spike should be expected as he continues to grow. Brother Saul is a 6-7 RHP in the Mets Organization.

OF Ian Velazquez (2020 HS Class / Carolina PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/ivelazquez/

60 YARDS: 6.7
OF MPH: 80-83 MPH

Player Report (7/14/2018 Video Workout)
Huge Upside. 6-2 wiry frame with a projection left. 6.7 runner with sub 4 times to 1st base as a right=handed hitter.   Showed good arm strength and carry on throws. Moves very well in the OF, can play CF. Offensively hits with an ideal angle for lifting the ball and makes solid contact with a knack for barreling the ball, drove several pitches with authority to his pull side. Will hit for more power as he fills out and continues to develop physically.

INF Giovanni Escobar (2019 HS Class / Loiza PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/giomaes/

60 YARDS: 7.2
OF MPH: T82 MPH

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Very wiry, slight build with better strength than frame would suggest.  Significant room to add weight.  Smooth defensively, perhaps to a fault yet rangy and with good lateral footwork.  Arm could eventually play at the left side of the diamond.  Can see him being more consistent defensively with repetitions and overall fundamental work in positioning defensively.  Hits with tall stance and bat resting flat over shoulders.  Makes good barrel contact that suggests he will have some gap pop once he gains the additional size he needs.

C/INF Evan Fragela (2020 HS Class / Guaynabo PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/fragela8/

60 YARDS: 7.7
C MPH: T77 MPH
POP TIMES: 2.1

Player Report (12/14/2018 Video Workout)
Sturdy, strong build with projection for plus power as a backstop, something hard to find.  Received and threw well, good explosiveness out of the crouch and a quick release with more than adequate arm strength which will continue to improve.  Can also play some 3b.  Hits from open stand with low hand set that makes the pitch below the belt his nitro zone once he toe taps and takes his hands back to explode thru the zone with loud contact and loft.  Only 16 years old, he is an impressive mix of size and strength with projection for plus power as a backstop, something hard to find at any level.  Excellent bloodlines as his mother, Eva Cruz, is perhaps the best female volleyball player to ever come out of Puerto Rico.  Fully Bilingual, good student.

OF Damian Ortiz (2022 HS Class / Guayama PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/damian/

60 YARDS: 7.1
OF MPH: T81 MPH

Player Report (11/30/2018 Video Workout)
Given his sound fundamentals defensively and his bat it is hard to believe Damian is only 14 years old.  He showed excellent projection defensively, attacking balls and making strong & accurate throws, yet under control, from the OF with a fluidity that is usually not seen at his level of development.  Hit from a tall, yet wide, set and a direct swing path with little-wasted movement after a very slight, controlled toe tap.  The extension on his swing suggests at least some straight away power where he showed glimpses with hard line drives up the middle and to the right-center gap.  His bat stays a long time thru the zone and it won’t be surprising to see him show a plus hitting tool by the end of his HS career.  Ran well for his size, 7.1 and has clocked sub 7 times before.

INF Jan Garcia (2019 HS Class / Loiza PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/giomaes/

60 YARDS: 7.0
GPA: 4.00
SAT: 800

Player Report (12/14/2018 Video Workout)
Athletic and versatile.  Ran a 7.0 without overextending, has and can run times closer to 6.8.  His light feet help him range defensively and his fielding actions are fluid with an arm that, despite below average strength, plays at shortstop.  Hits with barely a stride as he almost guides directly to the ball while keeping his hands back and makes hard solid contact despite not maximizing the use of his lower body when hitting.  Potential to run and make contact while playing the middle infield.

C Adrian Roman (2021 HS Class / Caguas PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/adrian5935/

60 YARDS: 7.4
POP TIMES: 2.0 – 2.1
GPA: 3.96

Player Report (12/14/2018 Video Workout)
Tall and projectable, Adrian showed an impressive toolset for a Sophomore Catcher.  Popped 2.0 with a strong arm & quick release.  Projectable offensively with excellent extension thru the ball with a high finish.  Swing path is currently more level than lofty yet he can already approach warning track power to his pull side.  Good looking prospect and yet another tall and toolsy catcher from PR.

C Holvin Catala (2020 HS Class / Cidra PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: https://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/hfcs_1/

60 YARDS: 7.4
POP TIMES: 2.1 – 2.2

Player Report (4/2019 Video Workout)
Sound defensive actions and transfer/fundamentals.  Bat projects well, currently more of a pull-oriented approach offensively.

C Walter Acosta (2019 HS Class / Ponce PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/wi_acosta/

60 YARDS: 7.9
POP TIMES: 2.0 – 2.2
GPA: 4.0

Player Report (12/14/2018 Video Workout)
Showed smooth actions receiving with a quick catch & throw transfer and enough room to improve his footwork and be more consistently within 2.0 pop times as arm is adequate for a catcher.  Can also play some 3b/1b.  Showed some pop to his pull side with a bit of a bat wiggle when attacking the ball that, when modified, will help his timing and balance at the plate.  Made consistent hard contact.  Excellent student.

OF Joniel Marcano (2020 HS Class / Caguas PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/luis/

60 YARDS: 7.5
OF MPH: 79-80 MPH
MAX BARREL SPEED: 61 MPH

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Lanky frame that can add solid weight & strength.  Good hand acceleration thru the zone in swing from an open stance.  Made solid contact with good extension when he didn’t overswing.  Looked good defensively, arm will get better.  Will develop further physically.

INF Jeremy Rentas (2020 HS Class / PRBAHS)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/jeremyalexis/

60 YARDS: 7.7
INF MPH: 77-78 MPH
MAX BARREL SPEED: 59 MPH

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Good projection offensively.  Contact/line drive approach, have seen him made hard contact to gaps in game action against competent pitching.  Showed good hands defensively, would be interesting to see him catch with improved arm strength as a bat should play at mid-level college levels.

INF Juan Garcia (2019 HS Class / Caguas PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: https://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/juangarcia0012/

Player Report (3/2019 Video Workout)
Line drive approach offensively.  Hit the ball with authority to opposite field.  Can play 3b & 1B where he projects better long term.  Interesting offensive player with the ability to play infield corners.

LHP/1B Francisco Caban (2019 HS Class / Caguas PR)

Report:

643 Recruiting Profile: http://www.643sportsmgmt.com/user/francisco/

HITTING
60 YARDS: 8.2

GPA: 3.9

Player Report (1/20/2019 Video Workout)
Good size and physicality for a LHP.  Arm strength needs to improve to tick FB up yet there are notable mechanical adjustments to apply now and develop further.  Showed good command of a curveball and changeup.  Offensively showed some pullside driving ability that could play up with better use of his legs in his swing.  Excellent student.
